James is the National Director in the Deloitte Real Estate team with over 15 years of experience managing real estate transactions in Australia and the USA, having acted for a range of major public and private clients. James has managed over $1Bn in development acquisition, divestment and capital raising transactions.

James travels regularly throughout China and SE Asia, having met with in excess of 100 developers and investors who are interested in entering the Australian market. To date he has completed 9 transactions with Asian based developers and investors totaling more than $230M.

James’ clients are primarily residential property developers active in Australian east coast capital city markets.  He sources debt and equity in relation to their projects and manages the acquisition and divestment of development sites on their behalf.

Jon has over 13 years of residential market analysis, development and advisory experience in Australia, United States and Asia. Jonathan is considered to be one of Australia’s leading residential property advisors, working with Australia’s and the world’s largest developers and property funds.

Much of Jonathan’s success has come from looking forward and keeping a firm eye on future trends which he then implements into projects. Jonathan has applied his unique skill set and experience to advise on residential development, strategic project planning, design, site identification, purchaser profiling, product demand, sales and marketing.
